Starting Chain

To begin any basket weave pattern, chain a multiple of 6+4. For this dishcloth pattern, chain 28 chains

Row 1

Skip the first 3 chains and make 1 double crochet into the next chain. Make 1 double crochet in each remaining chain.

Row 2

Chain 2 and turn your work. Skip the first double crochet and *front post double crochet around each of the next 3 stitches. Back post double crochet around each of the next 3 stitches* Repeat between ** to the last stitch of the row and, into your turning chain, make 1 double crochet.

Row 3

Repeat row 2.

Row 4

Chain 2 and turn your work. Skip the first double crochet and *back post double crochet around each of the next 3 stitches. front post double crochet around each of the next 3 stitches* Repeat between ** to the last stitch of the row and, into your turning chain, make 1 double crochet.s 2 and 3 until your piece is as long as you'd like!

Row 5

Repeat row 4.

Repeat

Repeat rows 2-5 (four row repeat) until your piece is as long as you'd like!
