Required for this pattern is at least 150g of sport weight yarn, and an E (3.5mm) crochet hook.

This is a beginner+ friendly pattern, requiring you to only know chain and half double crochet stitches. The ability to confidently count stitches and rows is helpful!

Experience with the "crab stitch" is helpful but not required for an optional border.
