Description

I can’t wait to tell you about my new friend, Bessie. She’s a lovey, shes a crib draper, shes a toy, shes a security blanket…she does it all! This pattern will help you learn to create this impressive baby blanket utilizing corner to corner (c2c) crochet and amigurumi! Never done c2c or amigurumi before? No problem! This pattern contains helpful tutorials, step by step, row by row written instructions and plenty of pictures. Not to mention each one of my patterns comes with unlimited customer service from yours truly (me).

Now back to Bessie… shes about 15 inches (40cm) wide, she has an oversized head with ears and horns and a cute little fluffy tail. If you flip through the photos you’ll see Bessie in her two configuration options: a traditional lovey and what I’m calling a “crib draper.” Both styles just depend on where you seam her little arms and head. And both configurations are clearly spelled out in the pattern so you can choose the one that your baby recipient will like best!

For this pattern you’ll need about 360 yards / 330 meters of a heavy worsted/aran weight yarn like Caron One Pound or Paintbox Yarns Simply Aran and a 5mm and 4mm crochet hook. The 5mm for the blanket and 4mm for the cow’s head, feet and other components.

When you purchase this listing, you’ll receive a downloadable printable PDF containing:

  • -Full list of required materials, gauge and sizing information
  • -tutorial, step by step written pattern and graph for the C2C cow print blanket
  • -row by row written pattern for the amigurumi cow head, horns, ears, feet and tail components
  • -instructions for both lovey and crib draper configurations
  • -additional photos

There is no shipping charge for this item as it is a PDF file. If you don’t receive it within 24 hours, please, contact me.

This was my first time making one of these and it turned out soooo cute! I’m sending everyone here that asks about the pattern so they can make one too! 🙂
