When creating this pattern, I wanted a buttonless baby pullover that could still, somehow, slip over big baby noggins. The solution was this front-wrap design. It works up surprisingly quickly for a sport weight project. Once you get the pattern down, I know you’ll love whipping these up for family and friends!

Required for this pattern is at least 150g of sport weight yarn, and an E (3.5mm) crochet hook.
This is a beginner+ friendly pattern, requiring you to only know chain and half double crochet stitches. The ability to confidently count stitches and rows is helpful!
Experience with the “crab stitch” is helpful but not required for an optional border.
